Police Service of Northern Ireland - Mobile CCTV

As well as supplying the Mic1-300 armoured cameras to the PSNI for use on the sectarian interfaces of North and East Belfast, we have fitted out a number of police vehicles with evidence gathering surveillance equipment. This includes a vehicle variant of the Metal Mickey camera and a Visimetrics Fastar Commander Real Time Digital Recorder.

Integration with microwave links allows each vehicle to transmit images between one another and to base locations.  Encrypted video, data and audio channels are available.  The robust and compact nature of the equipment makes it ideal for installation into standard fleet vehicles without encroaching on their existing crew carrying capacity.
