Roads Service Northern Ireland required a security solution across all depots, which would utilise their radio room in Coleraine as a monitoring facility.  The solution we proposed was to fit each depot  with an ADPRO FastTrace digital recorder with integrated  network transmission and either five or ten day/night CCTV cameras.  

Co-located with each camera metal halide floodlights were installed as well as intruder detection devices.

Each intruder detection device shares the camera’s field of view, so on activation the monitoring staff can determine the cause of the alarm and take appropriate action.  Site sirens were also fitted to deter intruders.

Vehicle barrier entrance systems with proximity card access have been installed at a number of depots.

Since the roll out was completed considerable saving have been realised and numerous thefts prevented.
